Bailey Senator

The popular Bailey Senator has been in production for over twenty years

The Bailey Caravans’ Senator range was introduced in 1988 superseding the Corsair marquee, and as part of Bailey’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

The initial range consisted of five layouts ranging in price from £8,570 to £9,685 and the design improvements led to Bailey Caravans being awarded their first ‘Tourer of the Year Award’ for the middle of the range Scorpio 380/ 2 in 1989.

The 10th anniversary edition of the Bailey Senator included upgrades of full-sized fridge freezers and air conditioning as standard. Followed by the Senator Series 5 range in 2005, and then the all new Senator Series 6 was brought out in 2007.

The Bailey Senator Series 6 Wyoming won Tourer of the Year, whilst the Bailey Senator California model was the first of its kind to offer a layout to include a near side fixed bed with a transverse end washroom on a single axle. The washroom is a one-piece fully lined shower cubicle which helps guard against leaks and water ingress. All models offer 2.58m headroom.
