In the third of a series of videos, CaravanTimes speaks to the Central Registration and Identification Scheme (CRiS), detailing additional security and protection for your caravan.

In the unfortunate event of your touring caravan being stolen, CRiS have designed an extra service to considerably improve the chances of enforcement identifying and recovering your caravan, even if all signs and traces of its unique identity from the windows and chassis have been removed or changed.

In this video, Chris Jefferies of CaravanTimes talks to CRiS about the thinking behind the CRiS Plus scheme, and we catch up with Tim Booth of AVCIS (Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service), who tells us how important the service is in helping return stolen items from caravans, as well as which items inside your caravan should be tagged with CRiS Plus microdots, to make your mobile home more easy to identify.

Visit CRiS at www.cris.co.uk to find out more.
