Sterling Eccles

Innovations for 2017

Three new models have been launched this year for the Sterling Eccles, the 560, 635 and 645.

With the three extra models, the Eccles range now encompasses eight caravans, six single-axles and two double-axles.

The 560 has a rear island bed, central washroom and will cost £550 more than its 565 counterpart at £19,725.

There were previously no twin-axle models, however, for 2017, Swift have introduced the 635 and 645.

The 635 will have a central washroom and transverse bed located at the rear, whereas, the 645 also has a transverse bed but this time the shower room across is at the rear.

On top of the three models, there are several features coming in across the whole range.

Swift command control systems are to be brought in as is a carbon effect, wide access gas locker door and chrome effect two part grab handles to the front and rear.

Swift’s command intelligent power supply unit has also been added, giving the range functions including battery selection, battery state meter, lighting and water pump circuit controls.

Other functions will be solar panel charging levels, heating controls and Bluetooth connection.

A new Swift Command App allows certain functions to be controlled remotely via an internet connection.

Despite the new models, the Eccles furnishings are unchanged for 2017, with hessian-effect fabrics and white locker doors.

A Lux option pack is now available for these ranges, which will include an alarm system with key fob operation, an illuminated kitchen splash back, barbecue point and outside mains socket.

Just as across all Swift models, Alde heating continues to be an option on the Eccles range.

A Swift spokesperson said: “With the look and feel of a well-designed modern home, large panoramic sunroof and new mini-Heki multi-directional clear roof lights, the living space has a light and airy feel.

“Clean matte white locker doors with chrome coloured handles are inlaid with gloss ‘Smoked Oak’ and paired with soft hessian effect furniture.

“New cassette pleated blinds with useful flynets help to complete the modern decor.

“The versatile furniture can be arranged to suit you. Whatever your preference Swift Group’s exclusive AirWave seating will keep you comfortable and well supported.”

Innovations for 2016

For 2016, the Sterling Eccles range has been enhanced with a stunning new profile and a stylish interior, still providing good value for money and impressive weights which allows for all models in the range towable by most family cars. And, with eight models to choose from including a twin axle variant, there’s pretty much something for everyone.

The Eccles’ construction system has been enhanced with SMART Plus, including three key enhancements: new sandwich floor construction with GRP outer skin providing more durability from the elements, upgraded hail resistant GRP roof, and a full GRP and foam constructed front window jig.

Coming with a panoramic sunroof, allowing for each Eccles to bathe in an abundance of light, the stylish theme continues throughout courtesy of new ‘Guetta’ soft furnishings featuring a fusion of earthy brown woven seat fabric with soft sheen bronze cushions and complimentary curtains with leaf pattern. Chrome sockets, switches and push button locker catches add to the contemporary feel Swift have managed to create.

Flexible seating and sleeping arrangements feature new Swift AirWave seating with a unique construction that expertly blends comfort and support, whilst all fixed beds have been made even more comfortable with Duvalay Duvalite mattresses.

Well equipped kitchens feature the Dometic fridge with removable freezer compartment and washrooms have a transit friendly bi-fold shower door.

Truma Combi heating comes as standard and is easy to use via a digital panel to control the heating and hot water with the option of an Alde wet central heating system.
