Sterling Eccles Sport 584

Monday, 24, Jan 2011 12:12

One of the larger models in the Sterling Eccles Sport range of tourers, the 584 is a newly added model that is the perfect caravan for a couple or a small family. With a large bedroom to the rear that has an island double with his and hers storage space it offers parents a bit of space while the seating area to the front offers children twin singles that can also convert to create a second double bed. An end bathroom is equipped with a Thetford electric-flush toilet, a shower cubicle and a hand basin, while the kitchen has everything needed to cook a great meal. An additional extendable work surface offers extra food space to prepare the food, a Thetford thermostatic oven with grill, digital microwave and dual fuel hob with electric hot plate will provide everything needed to cook it.

With all fixed beds boasting fully-sprung mattresses and four cushions that match the removable carpets, the Eccles Sport 584 is a very comfortable model. A low-energy LED lighting system looks great, while for the eco-conscious there are also provisions to connect a solar panel.

Fully insulated, the 584 is great in cold weather, meeting the standard for Grade 3 insulation classification. One-piece marine grade aluminium provides each of the side walls, while the redwood body is treated against moisture and fungal attack.
