Alde central heating system wins Accessory of the Year for 2014 in CaravanTimes' Awards

To say the CaravanTimes Caravan & Motorhome Awards 2014 were exciting would be an understatement. And the Accessory of the Year category was no exception.

The Awards, which saw YOU determining an eventual winner in each category, saw the largest number of votes we've ever received, along with the largest prize giveaway we've ever provided for Awards purposes and it just goes to show the caravan and motorhoming communities sit up and speak when the time is right.

The contenders for Accessory of the Year for 2014 were all worthy, but there could only be one winner. In reverse order, however, and in third place came Garmin with their range of sat nav devices, proving that we still tend to rely on something so mcuh less cumbersome than flicking through an A to Z whilst trying to navigate our car or motorhome.

With just 0.6 per cent more votes clocking in 11.80 percent of votes, Avtex televisions came second place. Yes, we like to get out and about, but it just shows that we still like our home comforts when on the road, as well as a chance to catch up on our favourite shows.

First place, however, with a whopping 46.20 per cent of the voting share came Alde's central heating systems. With over 60 years of experience under their belts, Alde certainly knows how to warm your cockles and you seemed to agree.
