Lunar Quasar 464

Thursday, 10, Nov 2011 10:11

The smallest of the four-berth Lunar Quasar models, the single axle 464 tourer has a fully convertible bed at the front which operates on roll-out slats for ease-of-use. The beds at the front can be deployed as a double or two singles, while along the rear there are two good-sized bunks to tuck the children up in. The kitchen area runs along the nearside next to the door and packs all the appliances needed to cook up a storm, with a four-ring hob, large oven with grill, a Sanyo microwave, 112-litre Thetford fridge and an enamel circular sink and drainer. On the offside is the washroom, which comes complete with an electric flushing C250 toilet, a domestic-style washbasin and a shower unit which features the water-saving 'Eco Camel' head.

Following the same stylish design theme as the other Quasars, the 464 has Lunar's 'Chestnut' wood interior throughout, including on the overhead lockers. The laminated 'Crystal' design worktops complement this well and the upholstery in the 'Tilla' pattern and the heavy duty stain-resistant carpet adds to the theme, while high-end fixtures and fittings complete the effect. Double-glazed windows throughout stop you wasting energy while providing a light, spacious feel that is added to by the LED lighting system, which also helps reduce energy consumption

The Quasar 464 runs Truma's dual fuel heating and water systems and has pressurised, semi-rigid water pipes, making it a highly reliable model. With multiple TV points all with digital connection it is easy to get comfortable in the 464, which also comes with a Radio, CD and MP3 player as standard. As with all in the Quasar range, the 464 has a CRIS identity code and a one-key-fits-all lock system.
