For larger families who need a little extra space, but who don't want to splash out on a high-end luxury caravan, the Elddis Xplore 556 is the perfect solution. New for 2011, it is lightweight and easy to tow, and comes at a super affordable price.
Owners can choose between a double bed and two singles, and there are four additional fixed single bunks that are ideal for children. In fact, the entire rear section can be entirely devoted to the kids, providing mum and dad with their own space to relax. And relaxing is certainly easy thanks to the high quality sprung upholstery, the luxurious deep-pile carpet runner and the Grade 3 thermal insulation that keeps the caravan toasty inside, even when temperatures drop below freezing outside.
External features of the Xplore 556 include an upgraded, class leading BPW V-tec galvanised steel chassis, a stone chip resistant GPR front panel, new exterior graphics and full wheel trims with an alloy wheel option. Inside the caravan, the fixtures and fittings are designed to a high standard, with Noce Prosecco furniture in a light oak finish, matt nickel finish handles, granite effect kitchen worktops and coordinated Lois soft furnishings. For sheer practicality, the Xplore 556 also comes with extra storage space under the seat bases for bulky items, easy clean blinds and fly screens on all windows and a wet locker with external access to the bathroom shower hose, which is great for cleaning bikes or hosing down the kids after outdoor sports.
