Elddis Xplore 506

Monday, 28, Nov 2011 09:40

Ideal for larger families looking for a high-quality caravan within a budget, the

Elddis Xplore 506 is a light-weight single axle tourer that most medium-sized cars can tow. With as many as four beds to the rear, including triple bunks, it has the ideal children's bedroom area, while the grown-ups take advantage of the convertible double at the front, which also operates as twin singles. By maximising space in the six-berther, Elddis have created a dinette area at the rear too, or a place for the kids while the adults relax at the front. A central washroom and a nearside kitchen area are both fully-equipped with everything a family could need in their caravan too.

The Xplore 506 is a stylish caravan which is light and spacious, partly because of its Heki rooflight. Boasting the 'Lois' patterned soft furnishings and upholstery, an alternative 'Estina' material is also available. Meanwhile, all furniture comes in an elegant light oak finish and the heavy-duty 'Chocolate' flooring makes for easy cleaning and hard wearing.

The all-weather 506 is fitted with grade III thermal insulation while also utilising the Whale MK2 underfloor space heater which keeps it habitable all-year-round while also maximising space inside. A Truma rapid heat-up water system completes the heating package while security comes in the form of both a carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm as well as a CRiS identity number and concealed data chip.
