Elddis Xplore 405

Thursday, 24, Nov 2011 09:33

The Elddis Xplore 405 is an ideal caravan for families looking for a new tourer without breaking the bank. The five-berth single axle caravan is lightweight enough to be towed by most cars yet does not compromise on quality, maximising storage space and offering completely separate sleeping areas. A rear double with lift-up bunk and a convertible double to the front provide the sleeping arrangements, while ample space for the nearside kitchen provides a large, 115-litre domestic-style fridge, full-size oven with grill, a three-burner hob and a sink with stylish chrome fittings. The central offside washroom meanwhile is fully equipped with a Thetford electric-flush toilet, washbasin with chrome taps and a vanity storage mirror.

The Xplore 405 is a stylish caravan which is well thought-out and executed. The interior design is co-ordinated with Elddis's luxurious 'Lois' soft furnishings while an alternative 'Estina' fabric option is offered. The classy furniture comes with a light oak finish while locker doors are in real hardwood ash. The heavy-duty vinyl flooring complements this with its 'Chocolate' bamboo-effect. Full wheel trims offer a classy exterior touch too, with alloy wheels an optional extra.

Boasting Grade III thermal insulation, the Xplore 405 guarantees all-weather comfort, while the new and improved Truma rapid heat-up water system will ensure warm water all year round. In terms of safety and security, this tourer boasts a carbon monoxide detector and a smoke alarm as well as a CRiS identity number and a concealed data chip.
