Luxury caravan brand crafted in Britain, known for their distinctive layouts

Coachman Caravans have been building tourers at their production plant in Hull for over twenty years. During this time they have developed a reputation for producing high quality, well built caravans.

Jim Hibbs and George Kemp, both previous directors of ABI, formed Coachman Caravans in 1986. The Explorer Group acquired Coachman in 1997, then Jim and the management team bought it back in 2001. The company employs over 100 staff, who pride themselves on the superior quality of their vehicles and their excellent after-sales service.

Coachman Caravans enhance the resale value of their tourers by offering a five year manufacturer's warranty and a six-year water ingress and body delamination guarantee. Certified by the National Caravan Council, their tourers are inspected on everything from fire safety, weights and dimensions to gas, electrics and ventilation.

Sitting at the higher end of the market, Coachman Caravans tend to be more expensive and heavier than other makes but are known for their high quality finishes and stability on the road.

Coachman ranges

The Coachman Amara offers value for money, style and comfort with eight flexible layouts to choose from. The five Coachman Pastiche layouts are popular with families for their practicality, and come in either two to four berth options. The luxurious Coachman VIP range offers comfort and quality with clever storage solutions and plenty of added extras. While Coachman's Laser caravans sit at the top of the portfolio, offering the best in equipment, quality and style, with the choice of four or six berth models.

Packed with top branded accessories, some of the fittings you can expect to find in a Coachman caravan include, Truma Ultraflow water and Combi-Boiler heating systems, Thetford kitchen and bathroom appliances, and Status 530 swivel directional TV aerial that picks up both analogue and digital TV signals.

With unit sales growing each year Coachman Caravans are an established front runner in the caravan market. Their model year runs from the 1st September to the 31st August.
