Make & Model
Bailey Senator Louisiana Series 5
Year
2006
Overall
This model was chosen because of the island bed configuration, with 'L'shaped fron seating. This series was in our opinion much better than series 6 with parallel seating, which resulted in heater towards the bedroom and smaller under work-top fridge. Looking for something of same style to replace it with, but nothing really around at present. A very good van overall. Has travelled extremely well all around Europe.
Space & Practicality
The amount of space both in lockers and under-bed storage is wonderful. Good sized kitchen area. Only down-side to the model is the small bathroom, but it does have everything in its place, no walking through the shower for the toilet.
Quality & Reliability
Minor problems initially with some water getting in around window frames, but all sorted out by manufacturer.
Equipment & Comfort
The large fridge-freezer has been fantastic, as we go away for long periods of time, often to out of the way places where shops are at a premium.
Value for Money
Value for money: excellent.
