Bailey freeze prices for 2010 model ranges

It's that time of year where those who would consider purchasing a new caravan will have one eye on the 2010 models, mindful that a new year usually brings new prices.

Wednesday, 02, Sep 2009 01:55

The buzz is undeniable and the anticipation is tangible. Forum members have been speculating as to the design and the technology. Caravan owners have been asking for pictures of sightings of the new model.

All will be revealed however on September 17th, when the longest established caravan manufacturer in the UK, Bailey Caravans, will reveal an all-new model to the public ahead of the International Caravan and Motorhome Show 2009.

The Bailey Pegasus is a new touring caravan range that will be introduced to the company's product portfolio to sit alongside the four existing lines, all of which will remain unchanged for 2010.

Caravan forum members claim to have caught glimpses of the Pegasus on testing runs in the South of France this summer. One person suggested a major change to how the front and roof panels are joined to the side of the caravan, believing that this will improve resilience against any damp and water ingress. Others have been praising the marque for "leading the way with innovation again".

On the social networking site Twitter (@BaileyCaravans) the manufacturer has been extremely guarded, only posting the tagline 'Your passport to adventure - coming soon'.

While there are no images in circulation there is however a teaser website where all will be revealed come September 17th. We've bookmarked it in anticipation, and will bring you any information on the new range as soon as it comes in to Caravan Times.
